Summary
By placing an order with StrataMoto, you acknowledge and accept that order preparation and fulfillment can take up to 4 months (120 days) for certain products and that this extended lead time is part of the purchase terms shown on product pages and at checkout.
This page explains how we handle chargebacks and the steps we take to keep you informed during longer lead times.
Note for custom paint projects: Custom work often requires a longer timeline (typically 4–10 months) due to design approvals, paint/curing cycles, and seasonality. See our Shipping Policy and Terms of Service for details.
What you agree to at checkout
When you place an order, you agree that:
-
Lead time may be up to 4 months from order confirmation (or as otherwise stated on the specific product page or invoice).
 -
Pre‑orders / made‑to‑order items may ship when production completes, not at the time of purchase.
 -
You will allow the stated lead time to elapse before opening a non‑delivery dispute or bank chargeback, provided we continue to communicate reasonable progress.
 -
If we materially exceed the stated window without reasonable cause or updates, you may request a remedy per our Returns & Refunds Policy and applicable consumer laws.

Our responsibilities
-
We display estimated lead times on product pages and/or at checkout.
 -
We send order and milestone updates (e.g., production start, QC, dispatch) to your email.
 -
If we foresee a delay, we will notify you with a revised estimate and options.
 -
For orders that significantly exceed the estimate without acceptable reason, we will offer appropriate remedies consistent with our policies and the law.

Chargebacks & dispute process
We aim to resolve issues directly and fairly. If you’re considering a chargeback:
-
Contact us first at support@stratamoto.com with your Order # and concern. Many issues are resolved within 1–3 business days.
 -
Provide any requested details so we can investigate (e.g., address verification, tracking checks, production status).
 -
If you proceed with a chargeback during the acknowledged lead time without cause, we will submit evidence to your bank, including:
-
Product page lead‑time disclosure and checkout acknowledgment;
 -
Order confirmation and timeline emails;
 -
Production/progress logs and carrier records.

 -

Unjustified chargebacks may result in account restrictions and recovery of fees where permitted by law (see Terms of Service).
Consumer rights (EU/Italy summary)
-
Custom‑made / clearly personalized goods (e.g., custom paint) are generally excluded from the 14‑day right of withdrawal. Your statutory warranty rights remain.
 -
For standard goods, your statutory consumer rights apply in addition to our policies. Nothing here limits rights you cannot lawfully waive.
 -
If we fail to deliver within the agreed time, you may be entitled to set an additional deadline or seek cancellation/refund under consumer law.

Practical tips to avoid delays
-
Double‑check your shipping address and contact email.
 -
For custom work, approve designs promptly and share any deadlines (race/event dates) up front.
 -
If your plans change, tell us early—some orders can be adjusted before production.

Suggested checkout wording (implementation)
Lead Time Acknowledgement
By ticking this box, I acknowledge the stated lead time (up to 4 months unless otherwise noted on the product page) and agree not to file a non‑delivery dispute or chargeback before this period has elapsed, except where my statutory rights apply.
We recommend adding a required checkbox with this wording to pre‑order / made‑to‑order products and including the same notice in the order confirmation email.
