Isle of Man TT spirit on a carbon race shell: dominant white geometry over exposed carbon, BMW M tricolore, candy-blue pop, and our signature razor-clean gloss.

Story & Design

We aimed for sharp and aggressive. A dominant pure white field rides over exposed carbon panels to keep the helmet’s raw performance visible. The BMW tricolore anchors the motion lines; we added a candy blue to lift brightness and a team-mixed solid red for high-contrast strikes. Fonts, logos, engine glimpses, and graphic elements are manually airbrushed for that handcrafted fidelity. For micro-precision, we use custom 13-micron water decals (≈10% usage) as guides—then blend them seamlessly with paint.

Client brief: a custom Isle of Man TT badge and TT course map on the crown. We researched proportions and orientation, then integrated both so they feel factory—balanced with the tricolore flow and carbon reveals.

Finish & Materials

• Palette: bright white dominant, carbon reveals, BMW tricolore lines, candy-blue overlays, special-mix solid red accents
• Technique: hard-edge masks + freehand airbrush; photoreal/mechanical detailing; precision micro-decals (~10%) for accuracy
• Clear coat: Spies Hecker 2K gloss with custom xyrallic—fast cure, hard shell, deep sparkle; machine compound polish to a wet mirror
• Process note: No structural sanding; base certification remains per helmet

Production & Lead Time

Care

Rinse with lukewarm water; blot dry with microfiber. Avoid alcohol/ammonia cleaners. For matte/satin, use pH-neutral soap only—no waxes or gloss enhancers.
